MANUPLAST has genuine expertise in plastic transforming by extrusion blow moulding and injection combined within the framework of creating complete sets, along with specific finishing.
Extrusion blow moulding

This process combines the technique of extrusion with that of blowing. The parison (tube of extruded material) is enclosed in a mould in 2 half-shells of the desired shape, and then plastered by blowing it onto the tempered walls of the cavity in order to harden the plastic into its final shape. For some product characteristics or functionalities, the design of the tooling can be rather complex with movements, punching, cuttings, take-up in a form with partial or complete removal of the part…over-moulding.
Injection

The softened raw material is kneaded by a screw in a heated cylinder then pushed under pressure into a closed mould. The polymer stays compacted in the cavity during the cooling phase which allows the material to harden. Then, when the plastic part is rigid enough, it can be removed from the mould. The injection moulds enable objects of variable sizes and shapes to be made, as well as highly complex technical parts, with great precision and very high quality surface finishes … “Inserts” may also be put into the mould which are then included in the part.
Finishing
For some products, we undertake different subsequent processing operations such as high speed machining (HSM), cutting, welding, gluing, decoration (silk-screening, pad printing, hot stamping) and assembling. These operations are carried out on standard or specific work stations, developed or adapted to the products.
